Hazelnut Latte
Homemade hazelnut milk gives this latte a nutty, roasted depth.

Ingredients
- 1 cup hazelnuts, soaked overnight
- 3 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon Hearty Spices Turmeric Latte Spice Mix
- 240ml of hazelnut milk (homemade or shop-bought)
- 1 espresso shot (optional)

For the hazelnut milk: blend the soaked hazelnuts and water on high speed until smooth and creamy. Using a mesh bag, strain the milk, squeezing all the milk into a jug.

Pour 240ml of your homemade hazelnut milk into a saucepan.

Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric latte spice mix plus 2–3 drops of cooking oil.

Cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until the milk is hot. Do not bring it to boil.

If serving with coffee, pour milk over a fresh espresso shot. Stir and drink.
Optional Steps
- Add sugar to taste if necessary
- Use a milk frother to get better texture
